BYD Seal EV Specifications and Range
As the excitement builds, BYD is yet to officially unveil the specifications of the India-specific Seal sedan. However, reports suggest that it will boast an 82.5kWh battery pack coupled with an electric motor situated on the rear axle. The India-spec BYD Seal is projected to offer an impressive range of 570km on the WLTP cycle. Delivering 230PS of power and 360Nm of torque.
The BYD Seal incorporates the brand’s patented blade battery technology, enabling rapid charging capabilities. Notable design features include an all-glass roof, four boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, LED projector headlights, flush-fitting door handles, and a full-width LED taillight at the rear. With dimensions of 4800mm length, 1875mm width, and 1460mm height. The Seal offers a generous wheelbase of 2920mm and a boot space of 320 liters.
Inside the cabin, the Seal embraces a minimalist aesthetic. A departure from the flamboyant Atto 3. A 15.6-inch rotatable touchscreen takes center stage, complemented by a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. Noteworthy features include the panoramic glass roof and advanced driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure assist, collision avoidance assist, and more.
