Kazgascompany Launches “Fueling Futures” Charity & Empowerment Initiative to Uplift Communities Across Kazakhstan

Kazgascompany, Kazakhstan’s leading integrated refinery and petrochemical group, today announced the rollout of “Energy for Tomorrow,” a multi‑year charitable program designed to empower underserved communities, promote sustainable development, and foster a new generation of talent in the energy sector.

A Holistic Approach to Community Building

The initiative will channel KZT 1.2 billion (≈ US 2.8 million) over the next three years into four strategic pillars:

Partnering with Trusted Local NGOs

Kazgascompany will collaborate with The Kazakhstan Green Future Foundation, Women’s Energy Network, and Rural Development Alliance to ensure transparent fund allocation, rigorous impact monitoring, and community‑driven project design. An independent advisory board, chaired by former Minister of Education Erlan Beketov, will oversee the program’s progress and publish annual impact reports.

Early Wins & Success Stories

  • 2024 Pilot Scholarship: The first cohort of 30 scholarship recipients, now enrolled at Nazarbayev University, reported a 95 % retention rate and have already begun internships at Kazgascompany’s research labs.
