Canadian Academy for Addiction Psychiatry Announces 3rd Annual National Conference on the Future of Integrated Addiction and Mental Health Care

The Canadian Academy for Addiction Psychiatry (CAAP) is pleased to announce its 3rd Annual CAAP Conference, scheduled for September 11–12, 2026, at the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, British Columbia. The national conference will unite psychiatrists, physicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, policymakers, and allied mental health experts to discuss innovative strategies for advancing addiction psychiatry and strengthening integrated mental health care across Canada.

Integrated Care

Centered on the theme “The Future of Addiction Psychiatry: Bridging the Gap to Integrated Addiction and Mental Health,” the conference will highlight emerging research, evidence-based clinical practices, collaborative models of care, and policy initiatives designed to improve outcomes for individuals living with substance use disorders and concurrent mental health conditions. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in keynote presentations, scientific sessions, panel discussions, networking events, and knowledge-sharing opportunities with leading experts in addiction psychiatry and mental health.
