Future Electronics Holds Expert Panel on Automating Transportation at AEU ‘19

Montreal, Canada (prsubmissionsite) October 17, 2019 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, hosted a keynote panel about automation in transportation on Tuesday, September 24th at their worldwide headquarters in Montreal, Canada.

As the world has become more automated, the use of electronics in vehicles, freight tracking, people movement, and logistics is expanding. From electric vehicles replacing combustion engines, object detection for driverless cars, to real time information on product location and status, there are new opportunities in this rapidly evolving market.

“Embedded Systems in Transportation: Automating the Movement of People and Things” explored these changes, and the new challenges they bring for customers’ and suppliers’ engineering staffs, including new certifications, safety issues with lives on the line, and dealing with an industry that is very different from the traditional embedded customer.
