MetaCompliance To Announce 2019 Scholarship Winners

(prsubmissionsite) November 16, 2019 –Award winning cyber security company MetaCompliance are set to announce their scholarship winners in the coming days.

2019 sees the first running of the campaign for a number of universities worldwide from Northern Ireland, the UK and the United States.

The scholarship was set up by the company to help with their recruitment drive efforts and to promote the awareness of Cyber Security.

MetaCompliance have stated that: “Cybercrime is on the rise and unfortunately there is a serious shortage of skilled people to combat this growing threat.

One of the best ways to address the skills gap is through education. MetaCompliance value education and its importance in creating a growing and talented workforce for the future. We want to support young people into Cyber Security and encourage them to learn more about the industry.

To help promote a greater awareness of Cyber Security and assist students with their higher education fees, we have a created a Scholarship contest for students at the participating universities.”

Atlanta, GA, 27 july, 2019 ( PR Submission Site ) – Tiffany Brown Designs and Tribute Contracting LLC are pleased to announce the Dr. Tiffany Brown Scholarship recipient, Ezinne Oguguo.  Ms. Oguguo is high school senior graduating from the Academy of Health Sciences  at Prince George’s Community College with a cumulative 4.5 GPA. She plans to attend the University of Maryland Baltimore County and  major in biology on a premed track as a part of the Meyerhoff Program. Ms. Oguguo have worked as a summer intern at the National Institutes of Health and she is working to obtain an MDPhD in neuroscience so that she can make my mark as a neuroscientist in the future.

The Dr. Tiffany Brown scholarship is designed to encourage and support outstanding students who work hard and have financial need. The scholarships provide financial assistance and academic support to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. The scholarship has an particular focus on female students with an interest in entrepreneurship.

The scholarship has been sent to Ms. Oguguo and the total value of each scholarship is $500.

SOUTHCENTRAL KY, December 18, 2018 ( PR Submission Site )– The South Central Workforce Development Board will soon be offering a new scholarship program, KY hirED, focused not only on raising regional educational attainment levels but also enhancing employability skillsets among college students, The program will begin in a limited capacity effective January 1, 2019 and is expected to be fully operational by mid-spring 2019.

Following the success of an initial project piloted by Western Ky. University (WKU Learn and Earn) the Board’s program will be unique, namely by offering scholarships to multiple schools, beginning with both WKU and SKYCTC. Robert Boone, the Board’s CEO said, “The South Central Workforce Development Board is excited to expand our workforce services portfolio. The hirED Scholarship will enable our organization to facilitate paid employment to college students, help college students build upon work-based skills and professional networks in our region and assist employers meet demand for some entry-level positions.”

When the hirED program begins in January 2019, initial participation will be limited to Fall 2018 WKU Learn and Earn Scholarship recipients only, allowing those students a seamless transition to KY hirED. Applications for all other students are expected to open mid-spring 2019.

The Workforce Board is planning a formal presentation/reception for late January 2019. During the interim, students and businesses interested in KY hirED are encouraged to visit and to follow @KYhirED on social media for announcements and updates.
