October 18, 2018 ( PR Submission Site ) HALAL is a Quranic term that means ‘lawful’ or ‘permitted’. Halal is used in terms of guarantee which dictates that food which consumed by the Muslim population meets the requirement of Islamic Sharia Law. Halal promotes cleanliness in terms of food consumed by a person in their day to day lives. Food is to be ascertained as clean, hygienic and will not affect their health or well-being. It is mostly required in Muslim majority countries wherein significant population practices Islam (France, Spain, Germany, UK etc.).
Halal certification guarantees that the quality of the food is according to the rules established by the Islamic Council that allows using the mark Halal. It is provided by the Halal Certification Bodies in India. All manufacturers of consumable products need to have this Certification. It ensures that the product is totally safe for consumption.
PP Foods (A Rice Processing Unit) recently obtained this Halal Certification. It denotes that PP Food has adhered to the robust food system and the food supplied by PP is in accordance with requirements of Islamic Law.
